Skill Development via Small Sided Games
Hey Coach,
The new hot word for drills is small-sided games. When I was playing and my early days as a coach we referred to these as breakdown drills.
What is a Small-Sided Game?
It is a game that is typically played with fewer players than a typical 5 on 5. It takes a segment of your offense or defense and you practice it.
Here is a sample of a small-sided game for the Dribble Drive Motion Offense.
