What is a positive pass, and what is a negative pass? These are terms you may hear if you are a Dribble Drive Motion coach or if you are learning it.
Positive passes are important in kickup and kickback situations in the dribble drive motion for a few reasons:
Prevents turnovers
Prevents switching
Attacking downhill vs. uphill
It prevents the dreaded weave action
Creates small advantages that can turn into big advantages
